BPC-157
A stable pentadecapeptide fragment of body-protection compound, first isolated from human gastric juice. Preclinical work links it to angiogenesis and fibroblast migration, which is why it dominates conversations about soft-tissue recovery.
Research status: Extensive animal data on gut lining, tendon, and ligament repair. A 2025 pilot study has now examined IV safety in humans, but controlled human efficacy trials still don't exist.
